I have chosen to write about someone who i would like to see in jail.

My sister. i would love to see my darling little sister in jail. Not because she has done anything wrong besides from making my home life a living hell, annoying me beyond belief and draining my sanity. I would like to see her in jail just to see her reaction. would she become a rough inmate who beats up girls after hitting the gym, sitting in the lunch room demanding respect or else. Maybe she would be a coward and give in to the bullies in jail, not touching a weight and when getting to go outside for activities walking around on the inside of the fence dreaming of the day she would be free. maybe a normal inmate one who just does the time playing basketball not getting her food stolen just a drone in the cage that she has been inserted into. But knowing my sister she would become friends with all the guards. And become the girl with the library cart wheeling herself around to all the cells dropping off books she thinks might interest her other jail mates. Then finally from being such a suck up getting released for good behaviour.

Perils of indifference And the Lottery

Man kinds lack of compassion and understanding. In the stories "the lottery" and "Perils of Indifference" the human race is shown as a barbaric and hateful race. They show us that even the smallest or most innocent person can actually do terrible and unthinkable acts.

In the ''Perils of Indifference" an old man explains to the president and his council how a whole nation had turned against a certain group of people for no good reason at all thinking it was harmless. The people did not know what went on at Auschwitz nor did they seem to care, they made no effort to find out. while the rest of the world knew about the atrocities the people of the nation ignored it like it had never even happened. A genocide that was pushed aside so that they could go on living there normal everyday lives. you cannot condemn just one person for the acts of inhumanity dealt to this group of people, the group should be because they couldn't be bothered to stop because they did not want to be troubled with others problems.

In the "lottery" a sick game is played with the towns people drawing the name of someone to be stoned. When Tessie Hutchinson is chosen for the sacrifice the children held stones ready for her. Even her own son takes a turn throwing pebbles at his mother. Tessie's best Friend picks up a rock which she needed to hands to lift to throw at her best friend, and without a thought hits her with it. While this is being down the old man Wagner sits and complains of how soft the town has become towards the idea of stopping the lottery and talks about the "fools" in the other villages and totally ignoring the idea.

The worst team in the NHL is by far the Canucks. without fail they never seem to provide an effort or satisfy veiwers. Never winning the Stanley cup but still trying is a lost cause. This year making it to the second round(which seems to be a huge deal, but to a terrible team like Vancouver needs to take pride in something other than some Italian goof of a goalie). Personally i am not a fan to begin with but now i have lost so much respect for a team that represents BC. the Nucks franchise should be sold. this year they somehow managed to pick up Matt Sundin. This leap of faith was a misguided mistake. after blowing out the Blues in the first round 4-0 is nothing to take pride in. Wining the first game in the second round hopes were high for the mislead vancouver fans. But that all changed in the sixth game when the blackhawks crushed Luongo. The defense left their goalie out to dry in the 3rd period. In the end Chicago came out with a 7-5 lead and obliterated the Canucks dreams. As it should be.
